I am always amazed how traveling makes you aware of context. I mean really. It brings to light how things are created, where things come from, how things flow more than anything between cultures, boundaries, and history. One thing you can also become aware of, is how people who are not traveling, which is many of the people in towns, are filled with notions of the world, even neighboring countires, but especially of systems, power sturctures, and overall flow of information and things in mythical ways. I mean, people can really be part of the problem not the solution, when it comes to bettering life, because mainly, these myths keep them in chains.
Just as Rousseau said, man is free but everywhere in chains. Also, Plato very clearly demonstrated how we can have knowedege , in many ways. some more enlightened than others. The Allegory of the CAve .....
I keep wanting to go back to Montesquieu as well. His way of talking about systems...and how we need to see things in their systems to truly understand them...That is fascinating! That is true. (this totally goes along with post-modernism, on the level of decontextualization, deconstruction, critical undetstanding, hermenutics, etc) And I intend to agree to that model in my discussions. I believe that sort of systematizing, not to be redundant, is utterly important at this time. It is critical in our quest toward a higher universalization, sort recognition of the universality of the human being, to be incredibly fair to the details. Otherwise ,we risk losing the game, the fun and drowing in some sort of banality or blase reality where where eveyrone is the same and dreary , .. hahaha
Hisotyr , thus becomes one of the key tools for such critical assesement of our placement , movement, interaction and future such aspects. Tej porer lisasins, balances etc...all become improtat. In the movementsw otwrd democr
